![]() If you do, and it's anything older than 17., uninstall it. First, check under installed programs (programs & features) if you have the full Intel Rapid Storage installed or not. In Windows, since you use the Intel driver for SATA, you should update it. Then, in the BIOS, set Win10 WHQL and boot mode to UEFI, set Secure Boot to Enabled and Standard, set your fan curves. To be safe, i would then do a Clear CMOS (bridging two pins with a small jumper on the board). Select the USB stick and select the file you extracted on there.ĥ) It will ask for confirmation and then update the BIOS. What i would try first is to flash the newest BIOS:ģ) Enter the BIOS, go to "M-FLASH" in the BIOS.Ĥ) Once M-Flash (the updater) is loaded, it will show a list of your drives. Except for disk D:, can you post the results of that? The SMART parameters with CrystalDiskInfo seem to be ok. Oh my, those are officially and by far the lowest numbers in AS SSD i have ever seen. C drive is 1.48 TB free of 1.8, others are 873 TB and 574 TB free of 1.8TB.ĪS SSd is running, it is much slower than Crystalbench, its been running for an hour and sitll has 2 hours left. I haven't tried them in another computer but I have three installed and they all produce similar results. My feeling is that the SSDs have slowed recently ( in the last few months) and that they were fine for over a year prior, but I cant confirm that with measurements. ![]() Since that time I have cloned the drive to a larger disk and expanded the partition using EaseUs to its current 2TB. I confess I had doubts but the convenience was hard to resist. When I had the system built I was told that I could simply insert the C: drive which had been in an Intel DZ77GA board and the OS would detect and accept the new chip-set drivers. But your question reminds me of something that may be critical. I updated them recently from the MSI site. The original chipset drivers were installed by the builder.
